Files Patent For Portable Encryption Device Compact Unit Allows Individuals to Easily Transport Confidential, Compressed, Encrypted Files On a Key Chain

(www.rtsz.com) announced today that it has unveiled the CryptoStickä, a portable data encryption and storage device that allows individuals to carry encrypted files with them on a key ring. The product was launched today at InfoTech 2002, one of the premier technology showcase events in the Southeast United States.

The CryptoStick, which comes preloaded with the latest version of CryptoBuddy™ (1.1), can be connected to any computer with a USB (Universal Serial Bus) interface port and is compatible with the following windows operating systems Windows® 98, SE, 2000, ME, and XP. The CryptoStick will come in a variety of colors and different storage capacities ranging from 16MB up to 2GB. The CryptoStick is the follow-up product to CryptoBuddy™ 1.0, one of the most successful software releases in the Research Triangle Park region this year. The easy-to-use application allows the compression and encryption of all sensitive files in a manner designed to simplify and demystify encryption in ordinary usage.

Data can be safely stored on the CryptoStick for up to ten years, and no software needs to be resident on the origin or destination computer.
