Research Triangle Software Selected
to Present at CED's Prestigious InfoTech
Southeast Event Showcases Speakers
from Sun Microsystems, SAS and Red Hat
(Cary, N.C.)
- Research Triangle Software, www.rtsz.com, a leading developer of encryption
devices and technologies, announced today that they have been selected as a demo
participant for the Council for Entrepreneurial Development (CED) InfoTech 2003
conference. InfoTech is the Southeast's premiere information technology conference
and CED is presenting it with support from UNC-Chapel Hill's Kenan-Flagler Business
School, MCNC and TiE-Carolinas. In addition to technology demos, the conference
will feature speakers and panel discussions on key issues such as IT financial
markets, brand building and government relations.
"CED is a tremendous resource for entrepreneurs throughout the Southeast and we are proud to have been selected this year to present at InfoTech 2003," said Jeff LeRose, CEO of Research Triangle Software. "This is one of the largest technology conferences in the Southeast and we look forward to showcasing the CryptoStick at InfoTech."
The CryptoStick is a powerful portable encryption device that is small enough to fit on a key chain. The CryptoStick comes loaded with the award-winning CryptoBuddy 2.0 software to keep files secure and protected as well as P.I. Protector, a software program allowing users private Internet browsing, mobile email and file synchronization. The CryptoStick looks and functions just like a hard drive, but is actually Flash Memory and easily connects via your computer's USB port. For most business information, the device can potentially hold-up to three times as much data due to the compression feature in the CryptoBuddy software.
The 13th annual InfoTech conference presents an opportunity to display technology to investors, national and regional media, potential strategic partners and IT professionals. The conference highlights North Carolina's multi-billion dollar IT industry and will be held on Oct. 27, 2003 at the Sheraton Imperial Hotel and Convention Center in Research Triangle Park, N.C.
InfoTech 2003 (www.cednc.org/infotech) will feature guest speakers from leading companies and venture capital firms such as Sun Microsystems, SAS Institute, Charles River Ventures, HIG Ventures and Intersouth Partners. Keynote speakers for the event include Matthew Szulik, CEO of Red Hat and A.B. "Buzzy" Krongard, executive director of the Central Intelligence Agency.
